The 28-year-old is first British woman into French Open semis since 1983

Before the 2019 edition of the French Open, Jo Konta had never won a main draw match on the Parisian clay.
After beating Antonia Lottner in the first round to end that side story, the Brit has kept winning. Konta is into her third major semi-final and will face Marketa Vondrousova in the last four. She is the first British woman to make the semis in Paris since Jo Durie 36 years earlier.
