Since Wimbledon 2016, every major has been won by a man over the age of 30. Will this trend continue?

While the 2018 Wimbledon tournament has primarily garnered attention for the decimation of its women’s seeds, an interesting pattern is shaping the men’s draw.
After the third round matches were completed, there were almost twice as many players over the age of 28 in the men’s field compared with the women’s. This is not a new development either as the men’s tour continues to tick up in age.
